Alright I just made a new model and I have a few questions about getting it into EAW... 1. How do I know the size I want it (vs a trooper unit) is correct? 2. What is it I have to do with the Adobe Photoshop plugin so the tga texture I downloaded and applied onto it works in EAW? 3. Can someone do the converting thing with my .obj file so it can even get in the game?

The photoshop plugin is necessary to convert most texture based files to DDS which is what the game reads along with the ALO. Be warned though that you need to have the textured already UVMapped onto the model.

I already have it textured-its when I was done texturing that I remembered about DDS. So how would I use the plugin on the tga?

You install the plugin as normal and then load the TGA into PS. Then simply resave it as a DDS using the "Save As...." option. You should be able to save it using the default saving options and it'll work. Thats what I do anyway and I've never had a problem as yet.

I seem to be having trouble converting the tga to dds... After I download the PhotoshopDDSPlugin, how do I use it? I opened it from C:\Program Files\NVIDIA Corp., clicked the Open button, went into the Softimage folder where I keep the pictures, and the plugin wont open the tga. It says it is not a supported type. What am I doing wrong that I need to do now?
