Hi, i only recently started to script missions so im stumped here. I want to lock or replace the Defiler when the consortium reaches Tech level 4. How can i go about doing that?

This is the coding i used:

STORY_TRIGGERDISABLE_BUILDABLEUnderworld_Saboteur_TeamUnderworld_Enters_Tech_04

I also realized that if i do that then the consortium wont be able to upgrade tech levels, so Im seriously considering replacing the Consortium with another faction. Any Ideas?

Mobius, that coding looks correct, as long as the fires it should work. Do you have it in the campaign story plot your testing it on?

Yea im pretty sure about that.

Is "Underworld_Enters_Tech_04" even a valid prereq? I dont see any other references to underworld tech levels in the story plot file.

That looks right if it were the Empire or the Rebellion. Not so sure about the ZC though. There's some reference to tech levels when they steal black market tech, but using tech levels as prerequisite for building units doesn't work with them. Unfortunately you may have to try it in game and see if anything happens.

Thats what im guessing is happening. When the try it in-game the Defiler is still there, i might have to try something else =/

Yeah I'm trying to think if there might be any way to tie it to their gaining what ever blackmarket advancement equals tech level 4 for them, but I'm drawing a blank.

The underworld doesnt have any tech levels as far as i know . Because the required tech level for all its units is set at 0
