Since my Naboo map is taking a while to complete, I decided to give a few teaser screenies. It's coming together little by little, and I'm trying to put as much detail into the map as possible without lag. I'm also testing a new idea/strategy which will allow troops to 'enter' buildings to get to higher and lower levels of the map =p (basically allows infantry to walk through objects, but passability is mapped to take more than a few seconds to walk though said buildings.)

Take a gander at the posted screen shots and leave and comments/concerns. Thanks!! :bows:

wow dude:bawl:, that is sooo beautifull. (but i hope: the texture isn't final?) LOL tonight SW EP1 on tv, can't get enough of naboo.

Aside from technical issues, texture is usually the last thing I do. I like to have every object and base in order before I start painting. And any texture you see is just a rough draft to get an outline for the city.

Cjr first cheack ur pm. second: i always start with the texture LOL, ok anyway, u rock. 1 thing that you might be able to fix what always anoys me, walking through buildings makes this happen: shooting out of buildings, even were no windows are:P, can you make it unable to fire out of buildings? with some height trick

You know, I hadn't thought about raising the height to prevent that issue. It should work. I'll check it out

You shouldn't forget that we want to be able to play the map, instead of giving it a good look. ;)
