I've come back to EAW modding after taking like, a 2nd break from it, and I seem to have forgotten how to customize the units and stuff in maps I make. So, can someone tell me how to do that? ^

You just restated the sentence in your first post???

what do you mean by customize units in map editor? you mean add new units to the editor or change existing model's shapes and colors?

I get where he's coming from. He wants to do a mod map like in Battlefront. So do you want to have it so that there are units made specifically for your map like possible in Battlefront or are you talking about a full on mod, because both are possible, but the first is a little trickier. Making a mod for the whole game is easier and you can get what you're asking for without having to do too much coding. Now if you want to make the units specific to your map, I am sorry I can't help you out. I've never tried to do something along those lines. I'm pretty sure that the people at everythingeaw.com have done it. I believe IG11 has done these types before. I'm somewhat rusty myself with modding this game. Thanks to high school.

Im wanting to know how to edit already existing units so they will work specifically on my map, like I want to change the size of an Assault Speeder, change the firepower for a T2-B tank. Stuff like that. But if it's too complicated I suppose I'll have to work with making a mod, although then other people who play my map won't have the same experience as me unless they somehow have my mod...:\ @Ur right about the Battlefront part, I used to mod and play Battlefront a lot. But I got over the game and went back to EAW. Sometime I'll get over EAW and go back to Battlefront. It's a never ending circle. :P

oh ok, im not sure you'd be able to make it just for your map though, you'd have to include the xml files of the edited units
