I feel like an idiot, but what's the command switch to execute a mod? I edited my shortcut with all the obvious guesses -mod -data , -game , -gamedata , but I'm getting nowhere. Yes, I goggled it first before asking too. :P
Anyway, thanks in advance.
why you need a shortcut?

Why do I need a shortcut? I guess I don't understand the question.
When you install the game, it puts a shortcut on your desktop. But that's irrelevant. I'm asking specifically about arguments and/or switches for the "sweaw.exe" file, and even more specifically, the arguments and/or switches that relate directly to which mod directory to pull from.
e.g. "[..]\Star Wars Empire at War\GameData\sweaw.exe" -mod stargate (or whatever)
You know. The mod switch argument. For example in Battlefield 1942, it was: "[..]\Battlefield 1942\BF1942.exe" +game DesertCombat
I'm just trying to find out what the switch is for this game.
Thanks in advance.
use the modlauncher ^^
Is this modlauncher built in, or a 3rd party app or what? I haven't noticed any other exe's that might be such a program. Clarification?
I couldn't figure out how to edit my first post at the top, but I just found the argument. It's "modpath".
So that would be "[..]\Star Wars Empire at War\GameData\sweaw.exe" MODPATH=Mods\
So you can easily make shortcuts to each mod this way by copying and modifying your existing one. It'd be nice if there were an understood industry standard for that switch, instead of everyone making it something randomly different.
its a 3.party tool.. so you can select easy with 2 klicks on every start which mod u want to play. it should be in the dl section of FF
