I was thinking about making a Ratchet & clank mod for EaW:
Faction 1: Ratchet & Clank - Major Infantry Hero. Can repair friendly vehicles & turrets. Can also switch from Blaster to Missile Launcher. Galactic Rangers - Basic Infantry unit. Has "Take cover" Ability. Heavy Galactic Ranger - Anti-Vehicle/Anti-armor unit. Has "Take Cover" Ability. Hovership (UYA Model) - Primary air-attack fighter. Ski-Wheeler (UYA, I forgot the name but its the car that has 2 skis for the front wheels) - Multipurpose land vehicle. While it does not specialize in any particular field, it can perform a variety of jobs with little-moderate efficiency.
Faction 2: Dr. Nefarious - Major Infantry Hero. Can literally kill units by screaming loud and picking up soap operas after he is unconscious. Can switch between Laser Weapons to Missiles. Standard Trooper (The blue ones found on planet Daxx) - Basic Infantry unit. Has "Take cover" Ability. Heavy Trooper (Blue ones found on Planet Daxx) - Anti-Vehicle/Anti-armor unit. Has "Take Cover" Ability. Artillery Droid (The floating torso with 2 repeating blaster cannons on each arm, found on planet Daxx) - Primary Anti-aricraft unit. Tyrranoid Saucer - Primary air-attack fighter.

And why not a mechcommander mod? eaw would be a fantastic game for this.
But is four units + one hero for each faction enough?
Well I'm still thinking on it. it is just a idea after all.
What about adding Galactic Conquest? for example, the menu will show a "R&C" campaign that you can select, and it will include some planets from the game. Although for Aquatos, you would have to model a surface station, because I don't know how you would model sewers in the Petroglyph Map Editor.
