I been modding with the Generic Hero file in FOC and I got it to pretty much do certain things that I want.... except this:

How can you get the Empire Fleet Commander to attach to the Super Star Destroyer Executor? I've been trying and trying and to me it doesn't make sense. If the Fleet Commander attaches to the flag ship in a fleet, example: Star Destroyer, why won't it attach to the Super Star Destroyer? Isn't that the ultimate flag ship? Please give me a hint or help?

well add this to your code: <Company_Transport_Unit>space unit goes hereCompany_Transport_Unit> That's it, make sure you put the name or your unit there though, and add it to the Company, not the main unit.

Thanks for the welcome Spock and thanks for the help Wizard. One question though. That code you gave me, can it go anywhere in the Generic Hero Units file? I thought the Empire Fleet Commander wasn't a company unit but a hero unit? Forgive me but it sounds a little confusing.

Put it in the unit information, not the company data. It will use the unique unit for space battles, and the company transport in the company data for landing reinforcements animation.

Yeah, I did this a while back in my mod, but if you want to make it unique for just that Commander, Make a copy of the executer and name it ex_2 or something and change the voice commands like a star destroyer or what you want so that way you dont just listen to Vader.(he gets annoying after a while along with that weird admiral of his).

Thanks again everyone for your help. I put the code in the Generic Hero Units File under "Generic_Fleet_Commander_Empire" but it still didn't work. I just tested it to see if the fleet commander would attach to the Super Star Destroyer when it comes out of hyperspace but he still comes in a shuttle next to the Executor. Am I not doing it right? Please, could you give me an example if possible? Thanks.

I think there should be a line that says Remain in flagship Yes or No, try that there should be a line.

Sorry, but I don't see Remain in flagship in the file. Here is a copy of what I have in Generic Hero Units XML for empire fleet commander:
