i got tired of trying to add that Titan ship in, so i scrapped that and tried to add a different ship from a different mod in the game, and curiously enough, i am experiencing the same problem. everything shows up fine and works fine, but it just wont fire on anything, it justs sits there and lets itself get killed. (it will respond to move commands and can use special abilities. now i didnt modify anything this time, i just copied the xml file for the ship and the hardpoints and pasted them in my data/xml folder. there has got to be something missing that im not transfereing. what other files control whether the ship fires? projectiles? AI? im confused. i could post the hardpoint xml code, but its taken directly from the mod, not modified at all, and works perfect while im using the mod. im just trying to take that one unit and incorporate it into the game w/o all the other stuff from the mod. im ok when it comes to xml and i cant find anything within either of those files that would need to be changed. (btw, the hardpoints do show up and are targetable and destroyable, like i said, the only problem is the damn ship wont fire on anything.) any help appreciate i would.

Go to 'projectiles.xml', your ship might be trying to fire projectiles that EaW thinks don't exist.
