Okay, I've downloaded a few mods that add a number of ships, among them the Venator, to EaW. Now, I want to revise those ships a bit (changing fighter complements to be more realistic, mostly.) Problem is, I can't find the Venator in any of the mods' XML files. Where would I find it? The ones I've checked out are the EAW Enhanced V2, UEAW V3.2.2, LoW SSD V2, and the Improved Venator V2. What am I missing?

ISD vs Venator. As someone said a while ago, it contains "The first, last and only ISD and Venator models that you will ever use"

If you're looking for the mod go to EaW Files and download it. If you're looking for the Venator coding itself it's file is in the XML file of the mod. Pretty self explanatory. If you need help coding different fighters for the ship or something else just post your problems here.

Couldn't find anything called ISD vs. Venator on EAW files, I'll take another look.

EDIT: Found it. . . is it only for FoC? I only have basic EAW.

Mod is FoC only, that's right. However Venator model should work on EaW.

No, I don't think it will because of the turrets on the Venator. I could be wrong though, haven't tried it.

But you don't have to put turrets in there, right? Just code these points as hardpoints.

Oh yeah the animations wouldn't work in EaW. I think Filo may be right. You could code them in, but they will not work. Erik I know of the Realistic Rescale mod for EaW that includes the one that was going to appear in-game. The only thing is is that in EaW it only has one hangar hardpoint on the left docking bay area not like in FoC where you can have two. You can use some of the coding from the XML of the Venator, but you must leave out the lines of the codes from FoC. Hope it works out.
