Best thing to do is post your XML coding for the unit. Its a good bet theres an error of some kind (and its very easy to overlook something simple).

Not necessarily, i had also made a model, which causes a crash and i don't see any reason why. The most presumable reason are the XMLs, but maybe you must model your thingy again.^^

I agree with MP, it's going to be your coding that's the problem. It could be the model if you haven't done it properly (ie wrong format or some such thing) but without posting the code, it's hard for us to help.

I've solved a problem, looks like the game don't like to be messed with original Hardpoints.xml so advice for everyone = create your own hardpoints file

Cheers Stanlley

um...no, you can edit hardpoints.xml as much as you want, I certainly did and my mods are perfectly stable.

Darth is right but it might be easier to just make a separate hardpoints.xml and add it in to your hardpointsdatafiles.xml but to each his own some people find it easier the first way while others find it easier the second. Personally though it doesnt matter cause either way ur still going to add in hardpoints.
