Hey,

I need to contact MOBBMANN right away, but he isnt answering his emails, private messages or his mod page comments.

I have tried to contact the webmaster and EAW team but no luck, i just cant get ahold of him. But i need to discuss something with him urgently!

I have decided to take matters into my own hands, If anyone has been able to contact him, plz tell me how or when you were able to contact him.

Regards,

JZ-515.

Christ, just be patient. Every one has a life outside modding for EAW. If someone doesn't answer e-mails or what ever right away, dont go moaning about it on forums. For all you know hes gone for a holiday or somthing.

Yea i know, but i got a mod awaiting to be released and all i need is his permission before i release it. I've been tryin to contact him for like 2 or 3 weeks now, not 24hrs FFS.

And i also know that people have a life outside modding, i'm not asking him to mod anything. I never knew checking your email was apart of modding! OMFG!

Again, i'm sorry to moan about it in da forums, but i havnt got anywhere else to go.

First off, technically you should get permission to use other peoples content before creating your mod, if he says no all your effort will have been for nothing. Secondly those that want dont get, hes more likely to tell you to get lost if you bug him on every available channel. Lastly, yes you've got your own mod, your excited. Well stay excited at home not on forums and in e-mails, msn, AiM etc.

Technically i havnt imported anything from his mod, i've added ships like the Imperial Star Destroyer MKII for example which was included in his mod, and i felt as if i released it people would think i stole it from his mod, which i didnt, i created it myself. So i wanted to get permission off him just so there wasnt any confusion or problems when releasing it. Trust me, i would get permission from him BEFORE I combined anything from his mod! I have sent an email into EAW teams and i said that i had combined my mod with absolute mod, but infact i havnt anymore, i decided to try and add some units from his mod, mainly the buildable pirates thing and the ground vehicles but i decided to take it out as i didnt want to steal his work. I wanted to try and code in my own units. So Discard That. And whenever have i become excited about my mod in the forums? i've never created a thread about my mod, never just posted things to say about my mod and never promoted my mod in anyway (except my sig). EDIT: Ok, dont worry. i'll sort it all out tomorrow. sorry for being in a shit mood. Moderators can take this down if they want.

:0wned:

Yeh, agreed, mods please delete this. Thread has become pointless on both parts.
