This is not completely spam. We can use this to start a conversation about a new or at least improved DS II model in the game.

Admiral_Antilles;3669529im sorry.. the deathstar was not 900 km.... the orginal DS was 160 km's and its bankrupt the Empire and they could barley get enought resources to complete it.... teh second one could not be that big.... and that would VASTLY rig the game in the Empire's way..... plus you cant have that many HP's on a ship....

the orginal death star was 120 km in diameter the second one was 160 km in diameter

but i have to agree that there is no way to have that many hardpoints without having problems with massive lag

Keep waiting for Halo 3

Also if the DSII was only 160km it is less than 9 times the length of the Executor which is 19km. That can not be the case if you watch ROTJ you can clearly see the Executor crashing prow first into the DeathStar. In this scene you can barely see a curvature of the Deathstar's superstructure, this indicates a massive circumference.

Yes, don't rely on Wookiepedia for infomation [edit] Who even cares if the units are up to not up too scale anyway, they don't effect the funfactor, this is a game, its not realistic.

I actually think this idea is impractacle. Who would you get to make this model with so many bones to make for it ? Do you realise this will cause serious lag for some computers ? - A re hash of the existing model using an ALO converter would be better to add more hardpoints to it. Also because of the limitation of the space maps - which aren't that big in EAW or FOC a space model that big would be impossible to move or use properly.

not only that but think of the time to code that may hard points coding ships like the Executor, Sovereign, Mediatiator, Mandator units can take any where form 8 to 40 hours depending on your skill level so and there only have a fraction of what your asking for hardpoints you'd be spending days at least to code all the hard points
