is (or could) anyone planning a foc mod for the new sith order?

I am assuming you are referring to the Legacy era? 137 ABY...? I actully don't know if there are any mods that are working on that. If there were it'd be news to me.
I hope not. Legacy is awful. its themes are all stolen. New sith order- Brotherhood of Darkness. Jedi weak and dying out- Order 66/JCW(in Kotor 1 and 2) Name- LOTF. it's set too far after anything else, and means that from 40-100ABY, creativity of authors is restricted, and all have to comply to Legacy. I hope it's abolished. sorry to go OT, but no, there's not. there were several attempts, but none got far.

lol " I hope not " I'd be interresting to play with all the new imperial stuff, it looks cool.
meh. each to their own. just make an uncanon addon mod.
I doubt it's gonna happen. I haven't seen any reliable, realistic values for mentioned starships - it's too early to do something polished with Legacy...
There are things I'd kind of like to see from it like the new version of the Imperial Shuttle and the Pellaoen-Class Star Destroyer (largely for the name-sake). But yeah, that era could've been pretty cool, if they hadn't started everything all over again. >_> I mean, the whole idea of Cade being the last jedi is, well, lame, and everyone's favorite characters are dead, so no one cares. At least in the KotOR, people got to see their characters' ancestors and learn where the galaxy came from, without allowing too much to be screwed up, because certain things have to stay the same with an established universe of the future. Legacy, on the other hand, can, and probably will do anything they want to just because they can... I'm surprised Karen Traviss isn't writing for them, she'd enjoy that since she's always getting in trouble for contradicting other established sources... >_>
But, yeah... There are a few pretty cool things from that era as well...
Personally i'd love to see a Legacy mod. Bar the Caede and Krayt hyping, i adore the concept of the Imperial Knights. And i find it all more pleasant to read than all that novel soap opera nonsense of the recent novels. -___- I greatly dispise Jacen Solo. I'm already dreading the Force Unleashed, from what i read on the novel's story... it must be horrible. Vader and Palpy getting beaten up like it's nothing.
But i degress. Legacy would be cool but almost impossible for now. Only a few ships have been shown. So while groundforces and heroes would be easy, Space would be an entirely different matter unless of course one doesn't mind limited space options.

I'm going to have to agree with you about the Imperial Knights, they were a pretty cool idea, too bad they died (mostly).

Heh heh... Personally, I blame Karen Traviss, I've read a number of her books, and she definitely relies heavily on drama for her stories. "Hmm... I need Jacen to kill off someone he's close to, but GL probably wouldn't let me kill off Han or Leia or Luke, and nobody would care if I killed a minor character, and Jaina's the one whose supposed to kill him, and Anakin's already dead, and Ben *has* to live... Hmm... I know! I'll kill of Mara! She's the perfect person to kill off because she's popular and so many of her fans will read this book just to know how it happens! It's perfect! Oh wait, Mara isn't really *that * close to Jacen... Hmm... Oh well, whatever!"
OK, so she didn't say that, but Karen Traviss is *almost* that arrogant in real life. I like some of her writing, but she really pisses me off from time to time. OK, sorry, you got me going there when you compared them to soap operas. I completely agree.
But yeah, I don't blame Timothy Zahn for shifting away from Star Wars what with Lucas Arts pretty much giving him the finger these days. It's too bad though, he's definitely one of the greater writers out there.
I'm already dreading the Force Unleashed, from what i read on the novel's story... it must be horrible. Vader and Palpy getting beaten up like it's nothing.
Yeah, I was really excited about it initially, but the more I find out about it, the less excited I become. It's starting to like nothing more than a fancy hack and slash game. Bleah...
Oh, and I'd like to see the Pellaeon Class simply for the namesake of the awesome guy it's name after. That and TIE Predators. By the way, in terms of units, I believe the Empire still had some old Imperial Star Destroyers, Victory IIs, and probably some Dreadnaughts left over if I'm not mistaken. So if a mod were made, those could be non-buildable units that the player automatically starts with a number of perhaps?
Basically the Force Unleashed is aimed seemingly at people who adore being 'badass' and the likes. Feel free to break canon and common sense all the way just make the main char look superpowerful and 'cool'. We'll hype him all over the place and than we're sure to sell like hotcakes. -___- terrible... . I mean pulling down a Stardestroyer. And the excuses they made for the fact he's so 'powerful'.
Regardless i agree on Karen Traviss. I adore Stormtroopers, Mandalorians and Boba Fett... but she's so addicted to them, she's doing them a disservice by writing about them. They kinda lost me when the Vong War started. The idea in itself wasn't too bad but i hated how they applied the concept. It stopped feeling like Star Wars. That's why more and more i just prefer the Classic era and the entire Old Republic era. IK's were great. Antares Draco and Ganner Krieg could have made for some great stories. The same with Emperor Fell and his daughter. Instead it seems they're backroom cast for the 'epic' (chuckles) struggle between Caede and Krayt. Krayt who probably has one of the silliest backgrounds in SW history.
