I've added new sound for the Consortium megaweapons, in correct folder, with correct coding and file path, but it doesn't play in game. Other sounds do. So what's the problem? Does the game require some specific wave file attributes (bit transmission, compression or something, kbps? khz?) Help! :)

The sound recorder that comes with windows has the ability to resave it as a different sample rate, Mhz, etc. Some games that I have modded need to be a certain bitrate, Mhz, so check an ingame .wav file to see if your new sound is the same. You'll need an xml file to support your sound, but it sounds like you have that already, because you said it was coded properly.
