Problems making Empire squadron's buildable in GC -1 reply

So like the title states, I'm having some problems making Empire fighter units (tie fighter, tie bomber, tie interceptor, etc.) available to be built in GC. Basically, what I did was go to the squadron data for the each squadron and changed "build_initially_locked" to no and changed "build_tab_space units" to yes. When I did this for the tie fighter and tie bomber squadrons for tech 1 and starbase level 1, something wierd happened. On my space build panal in GC, 5 seperate icons appeared. One was a standard squadron of 12 Tie Fighters. One was a squadron of 9 Tie Fighters, One was a squadron of Darth Vader's Tie Squadron, One was a standard squadron of 12 Tie Bombers, and one was a squadron of 4 tie bombers. I am wondering what I am doing wrong and how I can correct this so that the only icons appearing on my build panal are the squadron of 12 fighters and the squadron of 12 bombers. the is variant of existing type thing

select the unit name, and search for it down the list.

one of those will have 5X of the health etc, they are variants of it like

is what you want.

just lock building on those and you are good to go.
