Hi, I'm trying to make a boarding craft and I gave it the theif ability. Then I gave the Calamari Cruiser a Captured Clone.(just one ship for now, it's just a test) But when I click on the thief icon and hover the cursor over the Cruiser -- it won't even let me select it to be captured!!!:mad: Can anyone help me???!!! PLZ!!!!!:bawl:

You mean Chewies ability, right? I´m not completly sure, but i think this ability only works in Ground battles.

If it's the ability itself that is useable on the ground only, not it's settings, you'll have to wait a long time... As I know nobody has hacked the Abilities, at least it's not published (I maybe wrong and sorry if I am, but I think that the AoSW has done things like this). I had a topic for this before, look for it. If this capturing ship proble is really the ability, we've discussed things about it. Oh, and maybe a foolness but doesn't factions.xml or gameconstants.xml contain anything about them? I don't know, but I would have a look (maybe you'll find a solution there).

incorrrect, chewie ability can work in space. Partly how Sonic0 coded boarding vessel for DE and his own mod.

as for creating new abilities, answer is no, but for mixing abilities all is go

Yeah i tried this before and got most of it to work but it wouldn't eject, i don't know y but yeah.

hm...somewhere in the .xmls u should probley find a thing that should allow it to eject. and would a boarding craft code be published or kept secret

Depends if DE or AGD V4 comes out first in which it would be released, also it needs to be done for each indivual mod.
