I have a question, thanks ahead of time for any help possible... I'm trying to change the music that plays during various battle scenes. Or change various sound effects. Does anyone know how to do this? I've downloaded Final Big to edit the .meg files, but that program seems to crash as soon as I open a .meg file. I also have EAW Extractor, but it looks like that can only extract files, and not edit them. And my last question is this: does anyone know where in the Data files that the game specifies "which" sound files in a .meg file play "when"? I don't know if I'm making any sense, but it seems to me that adding a .wav file to the .meg file is one thing, but getting it to play at a certain time is another. Any help is appreciated. Thanks so much!!

You dont actually have to put the files in a meg document. if you go into the music XML then youll find a list of the songs and what part the are accociated with in the game. Change the line in the xml with the music files name so its the same as the music you want to add. Then put your added music file in C:...(hopefully you know this bit)...Data/Audio/Music then the music files you put in will play where you put them in the xml

Thanks, that sounds easy enough. The only question I have now is that there is no music folder in the audio one; only a SFX folder. So do I just create a music folder?

Together with the extractor there is a packer. There should be an XML about when the music plays.
