I've been given permission from Mars Marshall to use his JA models and skins. So I have the models but I need to know two things: 1. Has anyone ever used Ultimate Unwrap 3d to import models? 2. Is there a step by step tutorial for doing so? Thanks in advance

1. Yes 2. No

Thats the short, sweet version. Now I'll go into more detail. There is a normal ALO plugin for UU3d, but be warned. Both texture material AND model assets MUST be in the same directory, otherwise you "may" loose the texture coordinates (its happened on one or two models I've imported). Secondly, if the model carries any relavent animation it may possibly be lost so you'll need to redo the animation (UU3d will save the animations though). Other than this you just import the model as you would any other model format.

I have Ultimate Unwrap 3d normal and pro versions.

I agree with Mayor A Payne. You will lose the animations. Really you will import only the main mesh and the uv for textures but nothing more. You will need a lot of work for to import them.

About tutorial, it is very easy. Just import and export. If you need a tutorial for it..........I would be surprise if you can convert them to ALO with 3dmax.:D
