Ok so I have finished modeling my ship and I have uvmapped it. I did this in maya. I plan on just exporting the textures and the mesh to 3dsmax so it can be rigged and exported to .alo format.
I have a few questions: 1) I was wondering what the texture size limit is. like 512 by 512 or can you do higher?
2) If the limit is 512 by 512 I am thinking of doing multiple texture files for the mesh. Like 8 separate texture files.
3) And if I have to multiple texture files, I think if I export the mesh and the textures with .obj to 3ds max that will work. Then just get it rigged and exported to .alo, would the texture files go with the model?
Sorry I am noob at this. Never exported a model or textured it for a star wars forces of corruption before.
P.S. Anyone else use maya to model?
