Alright so I'm trying to get the random missions from EaW to work in FoC. I've added the missions back in and changed the campaigns so that the player is marked as 'sandbox human'.
However not only do the random missions not work, but the other two sides now don't do anything.
Has anyone been able to successfully get these to work in FoC?
The Germans have done it, check AoTR 2, theres random missions everywhere. And add the EaW campaigns back to foc while your at it, they might have a few lines of code that the foc ones lack.
so i know about the events in aotr2 and i put many event in my frontlines mod. but there seems no chance to fire a event radomly. i didnt found anything about it.
i've set various things to fire a event ... example: player conquers planet X and after 645 seconds starts the event... over that way there are 1000 options which you can use.
you can use one thing to fire a event or you set 4 things before it fires .. or you make a "or" option to fire an event...
but radom events .... i don't know how .. i thing there is no way to get it over radom.. everything i found is fired over other events.

see, this is what I was talking about disabling for a custom GC campaign for AotR2 in my thread. do you know how to do it?
As for adding them in, I dont know where to take them out of aotr2 but if you look at that mod you might be able to figure where/how to add missions in
I activated them by only doing this in Campaigns_Underworld_GC.xml.....

It works for me, I even managed to modify AI so it would fire the random missions quicker, and more at one time.
That's what I did as well Sidious but it didn't seem to achieve anything. How do you tell the AI to fire them quicker?
