has anyone ever felt that the gameplay in foc is rather repetitive in GC battles?? Why do you think it is so repetitive?? I am trying to gather information on this because this is something that I was thinking about and want to change. Thanks and please tell me your ideas on this topic

Because you can only bring in a select few offensive or defensive units, and cannot have a very long battle.
So probably not intense enough battles. That's what I thought about EAWFOC and am trying to work on a solution to make this point better. Anything else anyone?? Thanks

The AI should attack more often and more diversely against different planets and not the same ones over, and over again
Yeah I have noticed the AI keep attacking the same planet over and over and am trying to figure out why. As for attacking more often I will be able to fix that with some lua scripts. Anything else?? Thanks

z3r0x's FoC addon 3.5 makes the GC battles a lot more intense, you could try checking that out.

eaw and foc were not well mae enough.
they needed to be optomised and fixed like FX does. the galact needed to be HUGE with many more planets and systems. there needed to be many many many more unitls with a much, much, much more interesting tech tree. THEY NEEDED TO BUILD AN AI THAT WASn'T BROKEN!

Try what the alliance mod does , space battles are far more intense mainly because of all the in built defenses around certain planets like kuat and coruscant . Fighting against a fleet of ships , a half dozen golon battlestations and a number of randomly spawned civilian & pirate ships is quite interesting

alliance mod overdid it. not even mentioning the horrendous lag from the billion lasers and the horrid-looking special abilities, they each take about 40 minutes. now EAW bores me to death now with the exception of a very few mods, but it is just too much. at the end, you're left with a massive fleet having to take down a handful of fighters on a massive map. it's frustrating. i'll give you that the structures added something though.
