Hi Guys! :) I would like if someone could send me a coded republic-class star destroyer because i tried adding hardpoints, etc.. and when i played the model was all wierd. If no one could then I would love if someone would offer me any help please, and sorry to bother you.

Hi, If you look at the model in the ALO viewer program you can download you can see where the bones are in the model for the hardpoints I'd just figure out what go's where and copy existing hardpoints code from another model to the new one. Making sure the hardpoints have unique names for that model like HP_07_REPUBLIC_SD_SHIELDGEN -for the shield generator for exmaple

Think this is what you should try out in making the hardpoints work. Making sure each bone name matches the points on the model of course. Cause you would not want to attach the engine to the wrong bone LOL

yes i know what you mean i got the stardestroyers bridge to be engines and shoot a hypo canon lol

I have got most of this model working now even so it blows up LOL had trouble getting it to fire at first but fixed it. If you want to see my hardpoints code I will post it for you, but my hardpoints code will be slightly different to your own code :) you'll have to change some code to match my hardpoint entry's.

I can send you the code that I used for the Core Ships weapons, if you want it. I don't thiknk I have the Republic-Class Star Destroyer myself, so I can't code the whole thing for you.

Already got the captialships.xml entry and the hardpoints.xml all appear to work now just tested it before - it blew up quite spectacular LOL

I have been working to try and code this model. I have been having issues with doing it.... for some reason I can't even get it to appear in game. I've been trying to just remod the Imp Star Destroyer, but that doesn't seem to be the answer to what I am trying to do. Any ideas what I may be doing wrong?

Well I based my code on the mon calamari crusier just changed the bits I needed to including new hardpoint information and this seemed to work - but I had the same trouble adapting the code from an SD. Maybe try what I did with the Mon Cal Cruiser ?
