Correct. The thing is I simply don't have the resources to make a Clone Wars mod - I'd need models of Mace Windu, Count Dooku, General Grevious and so on - you get the idea.

Instead what I can do is convert the Rebellion to the Republic on the basis that the Republic didn't entirely fall and has fought back.

I do have an idea for a Clone Wars mod that I'm going to base off the book 'Labyrinth of Evil' but again, at the moment I simply don't have the model resources to do it.

I don't want to convince you to do full Clone Wars era. I'm simply thinking about eventually modding your mod further :p, as I admit I simply like what you do with balance and other changes...

As for some models, I prefer gameplay, balance and 'SW-feeling' of Star Wars over models, so I'd consider using even existing models (like Obi Wan) for some heroes, with changed sounds and possibly skins.

For me, your mod is excellent technically, but it lacks Clone Wars atmosphere. Republic vs Empire simply don't fit, as they are too similar ;)

Well, that's my 0.02; as many people like your mod way better then I do, good luck ;)

BTW, I'm considering creating more detailed close-up icons for many units. Instead of full figures, I intend to make head/bust icons (similar to heroes) that show land units details (like diffrent helmets etc.). Interested?

Thanks for the offer, but I'm happy with my icons at the moment. I've actually added a new 'big' icon for the Republic Attack Cruiser that looks superb if I do say so myself, and a few other icons I made smaller to fit in better with the vanilla icons.

I've actually chnaged game mechanics a bit for v3.3 too. Now, Battledroids and Super Battledroids are healed by the Consortium repair facility instead of the bacta tank, and mining facilities are now exclusive to Kessel, Thyferra, Polus, Alzoc III, Bespin, and Mustafar. BUT whilst they're three times as expensive as they were, they put out a LOT more credits making these planets extremely valuable.

Great idea with mines :) Did you also upgraded their 'value' for AI, so it builds them before other buildings?

I also play Phoenix Rising a lot, and I must admit that one idea is great. Limiting each building to 1 per planet. It makes game more strategic, as one has to consider what to build where, instead of jumping from one superfactory to another and queing units.

BTW, could you post your new icons' screenshot? :D

Actually no I forgot to change the AI value, I really should change that :)

As for the screenshots I COULD, or you can just wait until v3.3 is released :P

UPDATE

I've just finished successfully converting the old EaW campaign files into FoC. What this means is that you can play GC with all of the new expansion planets but WITHOUT the Zann Consortium, so the Republic and Empire can play without uninvited guests.

Some units I would love to see are: standard clone trooper armor, Delta Starfighter, V-19 Torrent buildable in campaign, try to get the Delta Team, General Grievous, Magna Guards from the people with Thrawns Revenge, ETA star fighter, and most of the space uniys playable for land battles. These would really strike peoples attention.
