I'm currently trying to make a variant of a Gallofree transport drop a backup space station then self destruct. it drops the station fine but it won't off itself. what should i be doing to make it blow up?
The way I'd do it is make the actual ability self-destruct, then make it spawn a Space Station on death, which should work... The problem with that being it'd spawn the station even if it was killed by something else.
If I recall, there's a way to give an ability Health Subtraction as well as a limit to its range...So you could give him Antilles Ability, tell it to spawn a Station and make the health subtraction VERY high. This is just theory though. I'd like to see this come to fruition though...
ok let me try re-phrasing this I'm trying to give it the self destruct ability but when i click the button to make it blow up it won't blow up. it deploys the space station useing the deploy ability already but it won't activate the self destruct ability heres the Xml i'm useing;

I know exactly what you meant. What I'm saying is just make the self destruct ability its ONLY ability, and then make it spawn the space station on death using the code that makes ground structures spawn extra squads of infantry when they're destroyed.
Those two abilities you have aren't even linked at all, so one won't cause the other.
