In 3dsMax im working an upgraded Providence-class Cruiser but the shield didnt see in alo viewer I used Meshshield.fx and drop the shield material(mesh) but in the viewer seems like ghost and actually seems nothing, i used the basic eaw textures like NB_Base...Wave.. .dds but wont work:S What is the problem? What did i wrong? Whisch is the solution? Please help cuz' i continue my renovating project whith CIS ships.

I belive that you import the Providence-class Cruiser with the Alo-Importer correct?

You have to create a new Shield mesh for the Cruiser, i don't know why but the Alo Viewer can not see this.

Hmm,So In max i used Messhield.fx and the basic textures int the shield mesh with the basic settings and i drag it to the "shield" object and didnt work. So in the Aloviewer see nothing.another ship's shield working right but i have made see nothing......i hate this, i want to make good job and shield but these problems make me mad,so please help me........

I didn't mean the Shader, i mean the box or the sphere that you use for the shield.

I explaine it one more, if you import a Alo model into max and Export it with the old shield, the Alo Viewer and the Game can't show the shield. I don't now why but it is so.

The only solution i now is to set a new box ore sphere for the shield, put the shader on it and export it.
