I posted this question on EEAW, but after a week with no answer, I decided to just post it here.

Recently I've added in the MC40 for the Rebels and when I added it, I copied the XML code from the MC30 to create the MC40 and gave both of them a fighter bay. When I've used them in game neither one spawns fighters. I've done all the requirements to get the ships to spawn fighters. I've added the SPAWN SQUADRON, added the squadrons to be launched, and the fighterbay hardpoint, but nothing works. I have no idea what's preventing them from spawning and the only reason I can think of why both ships won't launch fighters, is because I copied the MC30's code for the MC40. I'm wondering if the MC30 has a LUA script for the Cluster bombs and that's stopping the fighters from launching.

What model is the mc40? how has you coded the fighter bay hardpoint?

It is prob the hard point. You need to make sure the ship has a hardpoint coded and that requires another Bone to be on the model, unless you are removing the 2 Proton Torpedo Launch Tubes on the nose and transforming it into a Carrier Ship with a single laser on the back end.

EDIT : The MC30 is that Torpedo Frigate Right? Or did i mix that up with something....

The MC40 model is the one made by keeper_of_faith. Well rigged by Keeper, made by EvilleJedi. The MC30 is a re-rigged model from War Lord Link's model pack. EDIT: In the words of Homer Simpson, D'OH!!!!!!! I discovered the problem. Rebel_X-wing_Sqaudron, 1Y-wing_Sqaudron, 110Rebel_X-wing_Sqaudron, 3Y-wing_Sqaudron, 2 Usually when I code in starships I copy and paste a lot of stuff, in this case I copied the Rebel X-wing Squadron to the Y-wing Squadron and THEN copied the fighter to be launched to the MC40, which cause them not to launch from the ships. All because of Sqaudron, which should be sqUAdron.

OK, but, the MC30 has no spawn bones last I checked.

You can turn any ship that has hardpoints into a carrier. I have turned a Kedalbe into a carrier using the shied leach for the hardpoint. I have also turned the MC80, Venator, and Homeone into carriers as well.

The MC30 came from this mod. All the models have a ton of new bones and ALL of them have Spawn bones for fighter bays.

Why the Home One wasnt a carrier to begin with is a mystery to me, I mean its in the movie as a freaken carrier vessel lol. But yea, I've turned the Sith Battlecruiser into a carrier for the rebellion. Ill take a look over the code vs the model later if I have time.

IE : Once I get frustrated with BF3.....
