I have a question which is not directly about the game, but where did you learn to wrok with LUA coding? Did you already know a programming language or did you learn it by studying it on the internet or something?

I have minor previous programming skills, worked with perl, and c++. Created a few small programs. As far as learning .lua for Empire at War, I studied it until it made sense to me. Hopefully soon I will have some good tutorials to post up here. Once you get started, trial and error, and eventually you get the script to work properly is pretty rewarding. It adds some great abilities to gameplay. The story mode scripting is pretty close ended, meaning you are very limited as to what you want to do. But combining .lua with it opens up many possibilities.

EDIT: I have seen some good .lua scripts, but honestly believe that we have not scraped the surface as to what can be done with .lua. To more directly answer your question, I only studied the in-game scripts. Broke them down, and tried my own scripts. Once something worked, I expanded on it.

I would like to know a way to make a fighter squadron use an ability to ram a ship (Kamikaze)

I'm not sure about an ability that would do this, you could in the normal hardpoints set the weapon range to like 10, or 30, and then set max targeting distance to something similar, that way when you tell them to attack they'll run into the actual ship, that wouldn't kill them though.

I also have a question, as I know close to nothing about AI and how they work.

In my old republic mod when playing skirmish, in a 2v2 vs the republic, they seem to not be spending a lot of money, they spend some of it in corvettes and small frigates, with a low AI combat value. After quite a lot of time they decide to hyperspace in a very large fleet, consisting of atleast 15000 credits or more, but at that point you could've easily killed their station, this isn't very challenging and I would like to fix this, would anyone know how, or why this is happening in the first place?

Does anyone know how the line works? Do similar upgrades stack when they have the same number or when they have a different number?

It means two, three, or more abilities, upgrades, or whatever stack onto each other, depending on the number.

Example: Palpatine could give a 25% health bonus and Vader could give a 10% health bonus. If both have a 0, they won't stack. If one has Zero and the other a One, it will stack the bonuses. So combined Vader and Palpatine will give a 35% health bonus.

I think that's right.
