Couple of quick questions about space units.
First off, I have been playing galactic conquest and I have yet to see the computer build an MC80 to throw at me, Now Is this a difficulty setting thing, i have it at medium. If I lower the credits required to build it will it be more likely to make them, or if I change it so that it doesnt have to be built at specific planets?
Second question. I would like to make my Phantom Tie Fighters shoot torpedos, sort of like long range assaults on bases behind enemy lines, but when looking through the XMLs I couldnt figure out how to make them do this.
So is there an easy way to change the Phantoms to shoot torpedos, or would it be easier to give Tie bombers or Tie Defenders some sort of Stealth ability so they can fly through systems undetected?

Both are easy to do. If you really want to do this... well, check in the Y-wing XML, look for HP (considering that u could have a mod, it could have been changed from the default ;) ). Usually there are two Hard Points with muzzle: HP_Bomber01 and 02. Simply copy them in the TIE's HP list and it's done. ;)
not if the attachment bones are diff, the tie defenders bones are HP_MuzzleB_00/01, the Tie phantom might not have the attachment bone muzzleB you have to open the model in the alo viewer and see the attachment bones, anyone will work just fine (if it has the same ones then all you have to do is what was said above) if you need to change the attachment bone copy the hardpoints in hardpoints.xml and give them a new name, like HP_TIE_PHANTOM_00 and then once thats done go into the units_space_empire_tie_phantom.xml (or something like that) and add the hardpoint entries basicaly the same as said above except that extra step if you need to change the hardpoints
would it just be easier to somehow give the tie bombers the phantoms innate stealth ability to fly past planets etc?
