STAR WARS: SHATTERED REALITY!

Ever wonder what it would be like if the Mace Windu killed Darth Sidious? Or if Anakin Skywalker never turned to the Dark Side? What if the Grand Republic continued to strive, conquering the CiS and honestly returning order to the galaxy? Well, I figure these questions will be answered in 'Star Wars: Shattered Reality'. My plan, as a concept artist and idealist, is to recruit a group of talented modders and skinners to bring a whole new faction into the Star Wars universe for FoC. With the Empire being changed into the 'Grand Republic', the Rebels being converted into a brand new alien faction, and the Underworld Consortiumm becoming the 'Remnants of the Confederacy'. The units would be included as follows!

Factions & Units: The Grand Galactic Republic - (Good)

Ground - Clone Trooper (Rifleman) Clone Defender (Rocket Trooper) Clone Commando (Specail Trooper) Clone Engineer (Vehicle Repair Trooper) Clone Regenerator (Medic)

Ground Vehicles - AT-TE: All-Terrain Tactical-Enforcer (Transport/Assault Tank) AT-AP: All-Terrain Attack-Pod (Anti-Infantry Walker) AT-AAT: All-Terrain Anti-Air Transpot (Transport/Anti-Air Tank) AT-RE: All-Terrain Republic-Enforcer (Dual Anti-Infantry and Anti-Armor Tank) Heroes (ground) - Mace Windu: Much Older and Wiser than his younger predecessor, currently has a close relationship with his friend Anakin Skywalker, a fellow Master-Jedi. Obi-Wan Kenobi: Also Much Wiser after discovering the betrayal of Senator Palpintine (spelling?). No longer teaches Anakin Skywalker, but still holds a close relationship with his former force-adept student. Anakin Skywalker: Anakin Skywalker is one of the strongest Jedi to date. Since the birth of the new Grand Galactic Republic, Anakin has been closer and closer to finding absolute control over the light-side of the force. Luke Skywalker: His newborn son is to be a prodigy amongst the Jedi, and his father, his Uncle Kenobi, Mace Windu and Yoda are foreseeing his life in hopes of making him the next leader of a new age of Jedi. Yoda: 'Nuff said, I have.

Space - Fighters - ARC-220: As the Republic Navy aged, many of the original heavy fighter/bombers, dubbed ARC-170's, were scrubbed and salvaged in order to introduce the sleeker, and stronger ARC-220's. Though no longer serving as Bombers as well, the ARC-220 series was designed by Incom and Subpro Corporations, just as the ARC-170 was. It featured the same narrow spaceframe as the original, but instead of two large engines, it possessed three. The S-foil system had also been reproduced to include eight wings instead of three, giving the ARC-220 series the capability of using unusually large wing-tip mounted laser-cannons, 8 proton torpedoes, and two rear-mounted gun-turrets. Though sadly, with all these necessary additions, including heavy lifesupport and a cockpit designed for three, the ARC-220 was rather slow... though it more than made up for it with heavy durability and anti-fighter capability. V-7 Torrent: With the increasing demand in security on open-ended worlds around the outer-rim of the Grand Galactic Republic's domain, the Senate and the Jedi-Council constructed a fighter that was specifically designed for the use of Jedi-pilots. Much like the V-19 Torrent Fighter of the Old Republic during the Clone Wars, the V-7 Torrent Support Fighter is an incredibly agile work of art. With four forward rapid-firing lasercannons and two torpedo tubes to make shortwork of anything smaller than a frigate, the V-7 was useful around the 'Age of Reckoning' when an unknown alien race invaded the Grand Galactic Republic. (Note: The V-7 Torrent is basically a V-wing, but with two more side-wings and lasercannons, and the addition of two proton torpedoes). ARC-300: Instead of completely scrapping the ARC-170 line, many of the unused and unscrubbed ARC-170s were converted from fighter/bomber, to pure bomber. With thicker armor, shorter wings, more durability and only one pilot, the ARC-300 was used for long-range assaults on base defenses and capital ships. They carried four torpedo tubes and a small anti-fighter turretn mounted on the back to protect itself, but still relied heavily upon fighter-support to make its objective. Sadly, ARC-300s serve as cannon fodder against anti-fighter corvettes and frigates.

Corvettes - Ambassador-Class Space Cruiser: Much like its counterpart, the Consular-class space cruiser, the Ambassador-Class was used as a heavily fortified transport to and from enemy territory, when negotiations were in need. Just like its counterpart, the Ambassador-Class was painted red to declare its diplomatic immunity, which basically ment 'Do not fire upon me!' Though, when Jedi Master Anakin Skywalker was sent to greet the new, not-yet invading alien race known as the Hudaraii, his Ambassador-Class cruiser was fired upon. Because of its thick hull and multiple anti-fighter turrets, the Ambassdor-Class escaped with barely a scratch, and a'plenty of dead fighters trailing behind as debris. From that point forward, the Ambassador-Class Space Cruiser was used as a Anti-fighter Corvette, and mass-produced by the Corellian Engineering Corporation. CR20 Troop Carrier: The CR20 Troop carrier was a type of transport ship used to deploy small units of clone troopers when the large Acclamator-assault ships were not needed or impractical. Originally designed by the Corellian Engineering Corporation for use by its security forces, the Republic purchased surplus CR20s one month after the Battle of Geonosis. The CR20 troop carrier was armed with two twin double turbolaser cannons. It was 60 meters long and could carry 40 clone troopers, 12 speeder bikes and their corresponding supplies. The carrier's crew consisted of two pilots, one communications officer, and three engineers. [Thanks to the Star Wars Wiki for providing information on the CR20 Troop Carrier.] After the Clone wars ended though, the Republic continued to purchase and use these ships for specalised assaults and peace-keeping operations on remnant CiS forces. Though unlike the Ambassador-Class space cruiser, the CR20 were more durable, but lacked the firepower of an anti-fighter corvette. As the years progressed though, they were eventually fitted with powerful anti-fighter missiles, which often proved effective even against other corvettes of its size.

Frigates - (Work in Progress) Acclamator III-Class Assault Ship: Unlike its Ancestor, the Acclamator I and II Class Transport/Assault ships, the Acclamator III was neither a transport, nor a planetary bombing outfit. Instead, it was redesigned to serve as a 'Corvette Hunter'. With a small tractor emitter and several turbolasers, including two large anti-capital ship cannons, the Acclamator III was a hunter of sorts.

Light Capital Ships - (Work in Progress) Venerator II-Class Republic Attack Cruiser: Like its ancestor, the Venerator I, the Venerator II was designed at the Kuat Drive Yards, and served its purpose after the end of the clone wars as a peace-keeper. Outfitted with heavy armaments of powerful Proton torpedo tubes, and twelve heavy dual turbolaser turrets, along with 40 point-defense lasercannons for anti-fighter duty. Unlike its Ancestor though, it was stronger and a little slower, making it rely heavily on fighter escort to prevent attacks by incoming bombers.

Medium Capital Ships - (Work in Progress) Venerator III-Class Republic Dreadnaught: Larger and stronger than its older brother, the Venerator II, the Venerator III was -not- designed at the Kuat Drive Yards, and instead was designed in Corscaunt, by Anakin Skywalker. With an absolute focus on the destruction of enemy warships, the Venerator III was larger, stronger, and faster than the Venerator II class. It was outfitted with two proton-beam cannons, eight proton-torpedo tubes, and sixteen heavy dual turbolaser turrets. The battleship was an absolute behemoth, but compared to the Hudaraii, a mere child's toy.

Heroes (space) (Work in Progress) - Obi-Wan Kenobi & Anakin Skywalker (Specailly Modified ARC-220): With little difference from the ARC-220, the two Jedi' specailly modified ARC-220x is a powerful anti-fighter starship. With its lasercannons tuned to a rapid-firing state and using only two pilots (Anakin and Obi) to help operate the onboard defenses, the fighter is capable of challenging even anti-fighter corvettes. Yoda (Specailly Modified Venerator III): As a powerful and unforgiving worship, Yoda's Assault Cruiser is capable of unimaginable power. Striving through battle with Twenty heavy turbolaser turrets, eighteen torpedo tubes and a large, especailly modified Proton-Particle Cannon, it is capable of destroying groups of smaller enemy worships.

The Hudaraii Interstellar Fiocracy - (Unbiased) History (Work in Progress): The Hudaraii are a mysterious, and incredibly feirce race from a neighboring galaxy. Upon first contact, they attempted to destroy Anakin Skywalker's Ambassador-Class Cruiser the Diplomatic Pen, and furthermore, began a massive invasion of the outer-rim worlds. Standing nearly 13 feet tall, these slim, pale-skinned predators have faces only a mother could love. Their skin is soft and rubbery, much like a sea-creature's own, while their faces possess absolutely zero traits. As if they were wearing blank masks. They specalize in alien weaponry never before seen by the worlds of the Grand Republic and CiS remnants, and attack with a ferocity only seen by feral, indeginous creatures. They speak no word, nor do they demand surrender.

Ground - Ground-Reapers (Anti-Infantry): Ground-Reapers are the backbone of any Hudaraii military. Whether defending the interiors of their massive capital ships from bording parties, or sent to eliminate entire bases in just a few small groups, the Ground-Reapers are incredibly effective at what they do. Adorning massively thick black armor of an unidentified material, they can resist laser blasts and even weaker than normal lightsaber blows. The weapons they carry are usually massive, nearly bigger than they are, which causes them to be slower in march. But when close enough to a group of enemy soldiers, they let loose a torrent of particles that eat away any organic material. Basically incinerating their enemies. Ground Reapers are incredibly tall and heavy, incapable of being knocked down by nearby explosions unless direct. Though, as said before, very slow. Harvesters (Anti-Armor): Harvesters are a horrifying sight for anyone opposing the Hudaraii rule. Harvesters are very similar to Ground-Reapers, with one minor exception... well, actually a major exception. Instead of incinerating organics, they consume inorganics. Using powerful forward-extending claws, they cut through military-grade armor like butter, consuming what is salvagable for small degrees of health. Harvesters are also unusually effective against ground infantry, but easily destroyed by anti-armor infantry. Consumer (Anti-Infantry/Transport): Consumers could easily be mistaken as vehicles because of their large bodies, but these centipedic tanks are merely large, nasty creatures encased in thick armor. They consist of a diet of soldiers and tanks, and serve (in a nasty... degree) as a transport for Hudaraii infantry. Their stomachs are capable of 'opening' on the underbelly of their masses to 'engulf' soldiers required to transport. Nasty. Large powerful mandibles serve to cut through enemy ranks and tanks.

(So Far, that's all I have listed. I'm working hard to develop a nice background for the Hudaraii, this is just a glimpse of what is possible and what I have planned. PLEASE! Anyone help me with this, I'm looking for great modders, mappers and skinners! I plan to have this mod with a singleplayer campaign, a few Galaxy maps, and plenty of Skirmish maps! The Three Faction names will be decided by the mod team, but planned are 'The Grand Galactic Republic' and 'The Hudaraii Interstellar Fiocracy' and last but not least, the 'Remnants of the Confederacy' which won't just include droids. The Concept and Ideas were indeed all created by me, but I'm currently looking for talented modders and skinners to help me out with the actual process of developing the mod. Check the first post daily, as I'll be making many adjustments and changes as the 'Hudaraii' evolve to be more balanced etc. I still need suggestions and ideas for the Remnants of the Confederacy and the Galactic Grand Republic.

As I said, drop suggestions and details of the suggested items, and I'll probably include them or modify them.

I'm thinking about the Clone Troopers being 'color coded' depending on rank, and having slight modified armor, a little different than what was seen in Episode III. And I'm also considering dissolving the 'Remnants of the Confederacy' in order to introduce a new faction: The United Mandalorian Clans.

That sounds good if there is only 2-3 ranks, but you don't want a whole bunch of different clone trooper units.

That's the idea. I was going to have blue-striped Clone Troopers for 'normal Infantry'. Red for Medics. Yellow for Engineers and Maybe another color, like Green or something else for the 'Clone Commando'. Though CLone Commando's will have their own set of modified armor.

Does anyone have any idea on how clones would have changed as the Grand Republic progressed?
