I'm adding Dromund Kaas, which is a Sith planet. Wookieepedia says:
The sheer force of the Dark Side on the planet had the effect of disabling all weapons except the lightsaber.
I am wondering how to disable blasters for that planet. Of course taking away blasters takes out all characters except heroes with lightsabers or melee weapons...or TIE Crawlers.:) So I was thinking of adding Shadow Troopers to the Empire, Jedi to the Rebellion, and Nightsisters to the Consortium (I haven't used them or Dathomir yet in FOC, so I don't know if you can get them off of the Rancor. Of course I can't model. So unless someone want's to do that, I'll be stuck with the units already ingame.

Just use silris model, they all look the same. And instead of shadow troopers make sith knights. Re-skinned emperor models.
I may have to do that. Unless I can make the models myself. I'm trying to get my high school to offer a 3ds Max class, downside is that it costs about $3,000 just for training then there is certification, and then you have to get the program. Maybe when I graduate.

You could possibly make it so it restricts infantry and so fourth in the planets XML :\.

Isn't there already planetry or weather effects that modifes blaster strength or accuracy you could problem modify one of these to give a 100% reduction effectively making them useless.

Sorry for double post, but I can't edit anymore. The weather effect won't work because there are ways to negate the weather effects.
