Forgot to include in the update that Schofield posted, I am well aware of the fact that the Sun Crusher was basically indestructible, however, in the mod it will be balanced, still powerful but balanced. It will also be ridiculously priced, so the New Republic will not be completely dominated by it :D

Well this topic was really buried, only way to find it was to use the "find all the threads started by insert_username" tool :D Anyway, No this mod is not dead, I had other priorities and when I was working on it I just didn't feel like updating and such, but things are getting close to end. I'm hoping to finish the first version soon, how soon I can't tell. I don't have any pics for today but I'm going to break down the first release and what you can expect. First Release Breakdown: A while ago, I said that I wanted to get something released soon but I didn't want it to seem like it was half-assed (ie with a lot of bugs and such) and at this point I still had a lot to do as far as the actual GCs go and mapping for planets. So then it hit me, just cut out the GC part and focus on skirmish/multiplayer that way I can get something out sooner and still have something that's complete that I can be happy with and hopefully others will be happy with. So long story short if you didn't understand the above, the first release will be a skirmish/multiplayer mod only, so it will include almost all of the new units that I've added in as well as some new features that you haven't seen before, at least I don't think you have. Playable factions: -Imperial Remnant -New Republic -Imperial Warlords(Replaces Consortium) -Hutts or Black Sun (still deciding) -Mystery faction (will be revealed at a later time, and before anyone asks "Oh is it the Vong?" no its not, timeline of mod is 4-19ABY) As always anyone who is interested in helping can PM me here or any other EAW modding forum that I'm registered on. I'm not necessarily looking for anything long term, I'd welcome freelancers (ie. map one or two maps, rig one or two models, etc.) What help I'm looking for: -Modeler/Animator/Remodeler -Rigger/Converting to alo -Mapper(s) That's it for now, I'll try and get some screen shots for the near future, so until next time. -Admiral Jamoking

but in few mods are they of a high quality, with a lot of decent units. half of these mods, they are just copied from the stock black sun, and stand no chance against the other side. i would like to see a high-quality black sun, because i am yet to see one.
