I am wondering, for those of you who have played Mech Assault 2: Lone Wolf for the Xbox, how many joints are in the Spider Mech boss?

I am wondering this because I randomly came up with the idea, I know it will require a custom skin and modelling and such, but I wanted to put this in-game for Empire At War: FoC, for my own amusement. Also does anyone know who can rig infantry or walkers? I realize it'd be quite complicated, especially with the animations, but I'm just wondering. I made a diagram of it in paint:

EDIT: since I can't get a photo to appear right, http://i102.photobucket.com/albums/m111/Cobra01_2006/Untitled-1.jpg

I do not see to nobody making for your own amusement this kind of walker animation and there are not too people which they have added new walkers.

Yeah, I wouldn't expect much of anyone to do something for someone else's amusement or such, therefore I'd probably have to learn, do you think that producing such an animation (or rather replicating) would be difficult?

You would need a lot of free time and you should know many things from 3Dmax.

Definitely, of course, being a non-professional and not trained in 3d modelling via college and ect. It might prove a rather interesting DIY experience, this also includes skinning, which I know I probably have to learn, although finding the right program for me would prove difficult, maybe google might provide such answers.

Which reminds me, where do you get them now? Since I'm having trouble getting a copy without having the the thought of "is this site legit" in my head.

I don't believe you can acquire a legal copy unless you go to college, and get lucky. I know there are ways of acquiring illegal versions but as you said, you wonder if the site is legit, and not just virus'd. I have 3ds Max 7, so.. yeah.
