I was just wondering, I modded in Warb_Nulls republic station, but it would seem that in GC, when I build it, a Pirate Asteroid Base appears instead of the station, and when I move my cursor over it, it has the description of the Pirate Asteroid Base, which makes no sense to me as to why it's doing that.

EDIT: I believe this code is what signals what to appear near the planet when you build it. But it doesn't work. EDIT2: Additional Questions: a.) How do factions have specific color trade routes, such as the Consortuim having yellow, Rebel, red, and Empire, blue? b.) How do you get new heroes to spawn using story events, and if you make a new story event file, is there a main xml that contains a list of the story code files, for example: gameobjectfiles.xml, something like that?

We're going to need a lot more than just that line of code. Such as the relevant faction code (if this is your faction's starbase), the station code, and anything else relevant.

Well, I can't help with trade routes but I'd guess it's just the default color for the faction. However, for the station I think you need to add an entry to markers.xml where it defines the starbase markers.

Idk for the trade routes, it's kind of confusing - but I'll see if I can look through maybe the Hutt faction. The station works fine in space skirmish, but it's odd that in GC, it shows the Asteroid Base, maybe I'll redownload it, and take a look at Warb's XMLs and see if I made a dumb mistake.

The skirmish station and GC station are different. You have to code both.

Yes, I know that, but there isn't any difference, I'm not even entirely sure what station appears when I'm attacked in GC, the only issue with the station currently is the GC little version, aka, when you first build it, the station that appears when you zoom in on a planet.

has that "asteroid base" been attacked? are you sure its an asteroid base? it could be a misnamed republic station

The starbase hasn't been attacked. Idk if this helps but I found this in the TradeRouteLines.xml:

and I'll have to keep fiddling with the Campaign data I guess.
