:confused: :eek: Hey all u modders out there what do u guys use to make models and edit skin and animations. Please post a link for the ones u recommend the most.:smokin: :) :rolleyes: :D

skin- Photoshop. Model and animation- 3ds Max 6 or 8, 8 cant do infantry though, and (that im aware of) there isnt a Alo plugin for Max 9. Max costs around 300 dollars, cant remember the exact price......and dont know about Photoshop since I dont have it.

hey the 3ds max 6 or 8 how do u get it to work its dle file and u need a program to edit it

Im pretty sure Max is beyond the 1000's. I may be wrong though.

Student discount puts it into the hundreds. Still its scary how much it costs :S

Yea XSI I think Costs less than it does. and the Mod tool is Free.

I'll recommend this

Get gmax and learn basics, if you truly enjoy such modding experiences, consider 3ds max 8 an inventment

As of October 6, 2005, Autodesk will no longer offer Gmax® software as a stand-alone product

So then how can I get it?
