But sadly as a normal moderator you can't ban.
Then I would do whatever I could as a moderator, give a warning or something.
Why, just because they are asking a simple Question.....
Im here to help, not dictate.
Since you have to keep the stickies to a min. I suggest a master sticky with links to the threads that will be created by whoever(obviously more than one person).
I technically, dont have to, some forums her have several.
my idea is to well do what i already said LOL
ok all jokes aside
the purposes for have each type of moding having its own sticky is, screw it i just give a example it quicker...
ok, so say I'm a noob named joeblowme (:p) and i want to do some code and scripting it would be all easy to only have to only go throw a topic about coding and/or scripting then to go throw page after page of info i don't need with it all smashed together.
and that is why there are so many noobs asking the same Q's as the current sticky setup is not so understandable and what is has bad links now
I'd have to agree with lord_X's idea. There could be at least three stickies: Coding/Scripting, Modeling/Skinning, and Mapping. Within each would be links to tutorials and related tools. The Mod Teams Thread should also be stickied so that people know what mods are in production and their sites.
This is good, this is what I was hoping for.
Please more feedbacK!
I was just thinking that along with creating stickies for the different areas of modding for EAW, there should also be a FAQ because I keep seeing so many things that get asked over and over again, for instance, "how to change the space cap" or "how to install a mod" so the FAQ should just have a few of the most commonly asked questions and for anything else look in the other stickies.
Who will make it then? We all together?
