Thanks. I don't have that sadly and it costs about $600. Doesn't look like I'll be skinning anytime soon.
either photoshop or some other similar program.
Gimp is free, and I believe there is a FREE .dds plugin for it, for more information ask sakey.
or u can google "gimp dds plugin"
Ok I'll look into it.
Ok I have another question. What program do you need to view/edit LUAs?
You can edit .lua files with notepad. They do not need to be recompiled, just put them in the proper directory. Data\Scripts\story\, data\scripts\gameobjects\, data\scripts\library\. I really depends on which one you are changing. I placed them in story for my new campaign.
How do I open them with notepad? With XMLs I can just right-click and choose "Edit," but I can't do that with LUAs. Also whenever I try and view it (not edit) I get a message saying that the CP doesn't know what program to use to open it with.
Are you talking about EAW or FoC? The FoC story lua's did NOT come with the map editor. You will have to write them from scratch like I did for my Ylesia corruption map.
