OK, so I've had this idea since I got EAW, and waited for FOC to save me some trouble. But it is a giant mod that will add new factions, planets, and units, and will balance and scale things. All heroes will also have a land and space unit.

I also plan on adding 102 planets that have played significant roles in Star Wars.

For factions I was thinking keeping the Empire, Alliance, and Consortium. Then adding a Confederate Remnant (led by Gizor Dellso from BF2), and a Sith Empire as the ending suggests, I have also been thinking of the Yuuzhan Vong as well. All factions except the Sith also get a Dreadnaught.

Each side will get new buildable units (not all listed):

Empire: Shadow Troopers, AT-ARs, AT-PTs, and Storm Commandos Alliance: Jedi Knights, Bothan Spies (from BF2), and Combat Medics Consortium: Nightsisters (off Rancor) and Rodian Snipers

For examples of units for the new factions (not all listed):

Confederacy: Magnaguards with lightsabers, Chameleon Droids, SBDs, Droidekas, Droidekas mk2, BD mk3 (from BF2), MTTs, AATs, Hailfires, and BDs Sith: Dark Jedi, HK-50s, Grenadiers, Sith Troopers, and Assault Droids

And for heroes, each side will keep there current ones, plus new ones:

Empire: Jerec, Captain Pellaeon, and two others Consortium: Dengar, Joruus C'Baoth, Xizor, Jabba (don't care about story, they're both gangsters), and three others Alliance: Princess Leia Confederacy: Gizor Dellso, Grievous as Necrosis, Count Dooku cloned, Durge, Alpha Ø2 in Jango Fett's armor, Darth Maul with robotic legs, Asajj Ventress cloned, Cydon Prax, and four others Sith: Darth Nihilus, Darth Malak, Darth Sion, Exar Kun, HK-47, Calo Nord, and six others (all living Sith heroes were revived by Sith Alchemy)

If you are interested, respond. If not, don't go off and say how stupid this mod is. I need modellers, skinners, voicers (no idea what to call them), coders, and icon makers. I plan on doing the maps and some of the coding.

Wow this is...interesting....but have you considerd a Republic Remnant? But I like the logic you put into this but some of these situations don't seem possible, for one thing Darth Maul, he would be splatterd when he landed on the bottom. Good luck though.

I had a Republic Remnant early on in planning, then realized the Alliance would just absorb them. So I plan on allowing them to build Clone War units if they control Kamino. And for Darth Maul, I thought he survived, got new legs, and tracked Obi-Wan to Tatooine where Owen Lars blew his head off. Not to mention occasionly in the series a Jedi has been able to stop his fall using the Force. I think he'd be a cool unit though. Otherwise I could use a clone of him since he was cloned.

Sounds cool a few things i would do differently, the magna gaurds shouldnt have lgiht sabers as in their staffs already are build to with stan them, you are going to need more units for the new factions, also u will need some space units added to this to make it feel complete. just my 2 cents but i cant wait for the mod.

I didn't list all the units, too many, and I didn't have the time to list the space ones, but there will be new ones. Let's just say a KOTOR era Hammerhead Cruiser for the Consortium for example. And I debated that with the Magnaguards, but since I am adding Dromund Kaas, a planet where only lightsabers work, the Confederacy needed a lightsaber unit. If you can think of an alternative that's great, but I couldn't use Dark Jedi since the Sith have them.

And it is good to hear people are interested, I got worried this would be shot down by the other mods out there.

Schweet ill support this mod and i really like how you actually thought of hk-50's every1 loves them lol and an alternative for the magnaguards with sabers should be mercinarys with vibro blades made of cortosis weave, that is a material that can withstand a light saber.

Hmm idk maybe the magna gaurds staffs are made simmilar to light sabers and wont be deactivated on that planet? Because im pretty ure it takes atleast some sort of a mind to weild a light saber.
