Alright, heres the depressing deal of mine. It was the year 2007; I was a map maker with extraordinary talents. I would create a new map for FoC with great thought, and no plan to give my side some big advantage. The balances were always perfect. Then one day, I get the idea to create maps based off of a mission on the GameCube game Star Wars: Rogue Squadron. What was that mission you may ask? The Maw Installation! I create 2 maps for both parts of the mission-the asteroid field/space part, and then the ground part. So i create a map with LOTS of asteroids in it, and then 4 Acclamators and Nebulons duking it out. It was my favorite space map I made. I named it 'The Asteroid Field' (I think...) And the ground map-perhaps one of the greatest FoC maps ever concieved at that time-The Maw Installation! The ground map for The Maw. Its terrain didnt have much variety. It was mostly all just a straight dirt (not temperate) with a few dashes of asteroid paint here and there. There was a destroyable wall seperating the Rebel base from the Imperial base. On each side there was a hole that was accessable. Within the holes were those big build pads that build mining facilites, comm arrays & hutt buildings, and seperate from those pads, capturable turbo laser towers, a small mineral extractor pad, and normal build pads....Ok I g2g so its time to just get to the point. Due to a Norton Anti-virus program, my computer had to be completely erased and rebooted. I lost all the maps I ever made, including The Maw Installation and The Asteroid Field! I was so PO'ed and it took me until last July to get over the depression that kept me from getting back into the EaW series. So what I am asking is this: If you know what has happened to my maps The Maw Installation and The Asteroid Field, please notify me so I may begin my path back to recovering these maps! If you need more details about them because you think you might have found them or something, just ask and I will answer the questions. I remember each map perfectly. So please! Help me recover the ground map The Maw Installation and the space map The Asteroid Field. P.S. I am not completely sure if the map is called The Asteroid Field, but if you have found a map full of asteroids with clear paths on each side of the map (for ships to go through) with a Rebel space station in the bottom right corner and an Empire space station in the upper left corner, notify me! P.S.S. And just so you know, I questioned everyone who I played The Maw Installation with, and they all gave it a 9 or 10 out of 10. ;) Thank you for your help.

I mean there are ppl out there who played the map so it got uploaded to them and it might be on their computer or sumthin. Or by some awkward chance a person uploaded them to some website. My dumb dad is the one who erased everything while I was doing something else, and he doesnt know to back up files... Also, 4got to mention The Asteroid Field is for normal EaW.

Obviously, not everyone has common sense. Thats why they go on a forum and type a wall of text about how pissed off they are.

You know, I was planning on making the land version of that level myself for the single player mode though... Though from your description, your land on is a lot less exciting than your space one... >_>

There were too many features to describe and I was getting tired of typing. >.> But you'd be surprised what people could do with that map. Had my own strategy that I stuck with every time and I never lost :D
