ok just installed the game again after not playing it for awhile and figured that me and my brother could play the game on random occasions, anyways everytime i enter a land battle it gets to about an 1/8 loaded and then gase comes up with a debug error.

if anyone knows a solution would be appreciated, ive yet to test FOC but im guessing it'll happen there

So you got the Gold Pack or what? And when did you buy?

ah forgot to mention they are both fully patched to the latest versions, also have tried a reinstall of both games and neither is letting me do ground attacks and also neither are modded

This may look strange to you but what virusscanner do you use cause i used to have AVG 8.0 and that saw all dll files as a virus and removed them automatically. So in my case the program wouldn't accept groundbattles either. So if you have AVG then i could believe that something like that could happen. At the moment i am running Avira and my problem is solved.

It's not an issue with his anti-virus. The problem here is that EaW was not designed to run on a 64x OS and therefore, doesn't. Mike.nl has been kind enough to construct a workaround for this problem, however (one that I know works, as I run on a 64x OS as well). Just do a google search for "Mike.nl Vista Fix" and it should turn up.
