I have a problem in which i downloaded the Absolute Enhancement Mod(5.1) for Star Wars: Empire At War. But It won't work. I have a hunch that it is because it won't run on Windows Vista... Is it true?

No, Vista isn't the problem. What do you mean it wont work? You need to be more specifiic than that. Does it not start at all? Does it ctd before it gets to the main screen? What is it doing exactly?

The Mod itself does not actually play. instead it plays as the standard game. i've removed the Mod before and tried re-downloading/installing it but the game still loads as the standard Empire At War

Did you move all the data from the mod to the mod folder on eaw? Also you may want to try using this since it makes it easier to start mods. EAW/ FoC Mod Launcher Download, Star Wars: Empire at War Tools

Does it end up in the GameData->'Data' folder? or just in the GameData Folder

I think it ends in the data folder. Anyways if you haven't already made one, make a mod folder and put the data from the mod into the mod folder and it should work. If that didn't work, you might want to try this video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u4BFASVtOy0

I'm having the same problem. I've downloaded the Rise of the Mandalorians mod but it will not work. Whenever I try to start the mod, the regular unmodded game plays. Here's what I've done so far...

1) Downloaded ROTM and Petro Mod Launcher 2) Created a "Mods" folder (location: C:\Program Files\LucasArts\Star Wars Empire at War Forces of Corruption\Data\Mods) 3) Placed the ROTM and Petro Mod Launcher inside of this folder 4) When I open the Mod Launcher, ROTM appears on the list, but when I click on it, the unmodded FOC plays

Any ideas what's up with this? I'm pretty sure everything is in the right spot. Am I forgetting something?

For all those who regular FoC plays I have something that worked for me. Here are the steps:

1. go to the shortcut you have for the mod. Right click and select Properties.

2. If you're using Vista or Win 7 go to the shortcut tab.

3. Look in the target box at the file path specified. Make sure it is (or wherever you installed it to) C:ProgramFiles/LucasArts/StarWarsEmpireatWarForcesofCorruption/mods/(name of mod along with modpath)

4. Also make sure if your SWEAWFoC is installed in Program Files (x86) you change Program Files to that and vice versa (if installed in default location)

Hope this helps:)
