Oh I think, after experimenting a lot with it, is that it smooths out the ground so it is flat again.

Do you know the best CPU cooler for under $50?? I like this one but I don't know how good it is. Thanks

That one looks good, doesn't seem to be anything wrong with it.

I guess I should have asked this before I bought it but is the CoolerMaster V8 CPU cooler a good one? I got for $40 on Tiger Direct and it had 5 star ratings so I think it is good. I found out that my CPU was running about 60 degrees Celsius with one core loaded so I needed an aftermarket CPU cooler.

Alright, its good that you got a good CPU cooler, that is one of the few things that I will invest in for my PC in the future, good choice on that buy. proper cooling makes a BIG difference.

Well I got my V8 CPU cooler installed and now my processor on close to max load is only 40 degrees Celsius. I also installed my GTX 460 SE and it is pretty nice, it gave me 10 extra FPS on World in Conflict and I have yet to try it in Crysis. I heard that the GTX 460 SE was pretty poor compared to the normal GTX 460 and that it is close with the GTX 260?? IDK it works and it is awesome (and quieter) so I won't complain :).

Well, good that you got a nice cooler. Considering how you got an extra 10 fps in games, I think il buy a better CPU cooler.

Yeah the cooler did give me a reasonable fps increase because it was running so hot to begin with. Have you seen the Republic at War mod on ModDB? It is real close to release and willl be the greatest mod that EAW/FOC has ever seen (in my opinion)! My GTX 460 SE died on me this morning and I am back to running my GTX 260 while it is being RMAed. I am thinking about getting this 8GB DDR3 RAM here:

Newegg.com - G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1066 (PC3 8500) Desktop Memory Model F3-8500CL7D-8GBRL

That RAM looks nice, but honestly, I doubt if you will use it in your system. 4 gigs of DDR3 is plenty these days. But it is a pretty nice price, might be useful.

Awww your 460 died? Well, something died on my PC 2. I still dont know what it is, but im having problems booting the system. I boot it and it stays on. Not to mention there is nothing showing on screen for both my GTX 280 and the integrated ATI 4200 graphics that are on my mobo. Im thinking im going to either buy a new case or (most likely) try to buy a new power button. Everything else is working fine I think.

RaW looks fantastic. I think that will be one worth the download. Hey, PvM has a ModDB page now as well, il link you to it!
