Hello, Im new to modding EaW (used to mod generals), and i downloaded several models of the site and started adding ships to the game. This worked fine and i moved on in adding the battledroids from keetor. These somehow dont move in nice battalions and the ring around the battalion is floating around them. Also after shooting at their enemy's their animation freezes and doesn't works anymore. What did i do wrong when adding these models? (this is for a new faction namely the CIS). The other problem is that i tried adding a new sound file for the firing of a new ship. Somehow the sound file doesnt plays when shooting. (PLEASE NOTE: this is a gun sound no voice) Please help me with this so i can continue adding more to the game (including new models made by me). Thx in advance

no it doesn't ?! - it can be placed in your mod folder 'Audio' > 'Sfx' folder or in fact even in the Audio folder itself if you choose to put it there.
You have to make sure the correct patch is referenced in the SFXEvents file you are adding sounds to. wrong path no worky. This is 'IF' you are adding your own custom sounds to the game that are not in the original meg files.
Using existing sounds is completely different and does not require any particular editing of SFEvent files - only the actual spaceunit or land unit your adding.
Thanks a lot people, got both of em working. Problem with the audio was indeed the fact that i did not set the path right, so this one works now. Model is working now too. Aperently i forgot to create some extra pieces of coding wich would make it work as it should. So thanks againg.
