house of mirrors? are they actual mirrors that reflect your image? or does it just "catch your image" and not change until you look away?

If it is the second option it means you forgot to texture the walls, or maybe you inadvertently cut away part of your skybox. check your map in GTK and make sure that you have all of the walls there and textured.

If its the 1st option I have no idea.

Try making (glass walls, as I think) detail brushes, and put some enity inside every room.

To make brush (wall) detail: Select it. Right-click on 2D grid. Choose "Make detail"

It's a missing wall or something. It happens sometimes even when the place is covered. I have no idea why, but if you want, I could check the map.

I think he meant HOM, no Z-fighting, because Z-fight are mostly two brushes that are in the same place and engine don't know what to show, and shows both of them

It's called a leak. Leaks make the map have a low FPS too. I heard you can just cover the map in just one huge hollow block. Though I'm not a mapper, so I wouldn't know.

Leak stops BSP process, so now map with leak can't be compiled. But if shader is transparent, Radiant don't know what shader is that and thinks that there is no leak. But in fact it is there

I fixed it. Don't worry. hey, do you know any place to send jk2 maps since jk2files has now become jk3. There are hardly any jk2 files put up here anymore.

pcgamemods.com. It has its own separate section for JK2, you need to write your own review of your mod though, but it is usually a simple copy-paste from your readme (just a note: pcgamemods are sticklers for credit. Make sure you get permission if you are going to use something from someones mod. They will disable the download if you don't) you can still submit stuff to jk2files. there are people who have moved back to jk2 from ja, they still go there for jk2 mods sometimes.
