Hi all, I have a simple question. I've been battling this all week and can't seem to find where the primary weapon is placed into the models hand. I just want to set another (identical) wepaon to the models other hand. So far I'm just worried about the disruptor and I have all the torso and waste settings setup, its just now I'm stuck on adding the second gun. Is it possible to so easily, and is it also possible to do it without touching the cgame? Thank you for your time, - [color=blue]AC[/color] :: [color=blue]C[/color]obra

Sorry, but if you take a look at cg_weapons.c, you'll see that the weapon itself is handled in cgame, so I don't think there is any way to make such drastic changes as adding a second weapon without making it a client-side mod. The game just wasn't designed to render two weapons on a single player, so even if you can get the server to tell a client it has two weapons, it won't draw the second one. If you're ok with working in cgame, then I'd think cg_weapons and cg_weaponinit are very good places to start.
