Well.. The answer is probably going to be no.. But I thought I'd give it a shot anyhow.. As we all know there are forcepowers for both the dark and light site ind mp jo.. Is it possible to use the force power "skins" in JO sp?? And.. Is it possible to use fx force drain in SP??

And with skins i mean.. The red dark side powers, and blue lite side..

Thanks

About the skins, it is possible. Just add to the npcs file: customskin red or customskin blue About the drain: this is MP only force power

Well first of.. THANKS :)

And then.. What i meant was changing fx the force grip "brick" color from gray to red like in MP.. Not just player skin..

If you know what i mean.. :uhm:

I'm not quite sure I get it. If you just want to change a certain aspect of the force drain effect, you can download effectsEd from jk3files.com, its in the SDK.

force grip uses the red_glow picture of saber glow. You can turn red saber to transparent white, then

I'll try and make it as clear as possible what i mean.. Since im very bad at explaining :) .. And sorry bout that..

When choosing a forcepower you see those bricks symbolizing the power you wish to choose.. Ie. Force grip - some hand etc.. In single player those bricks have a light blue color, every forcepower has the same color.. But in Multi player there are three types of powers..

Light - I don't entirely recall but i belive a light blue color Neutral - Grey Dark - Red

This is the same as with Jedi Academy. Where every "force power brick/cube" has different colors..

So now for the question.. Is it possible to make this effect in JO single player too?? Giving every forcepower their custom color. As in JA and multi player..

Thanks

hehe those bricks are force holocrons (never mind). I was looking thru the gfx of JO, and I can't find blue versions... sorry. But I'll search once more

alright, you made possible one thing I wanted to do for a long time, but only half way :(

I'd like to remove the Red-hand grip extention so it's transparent. but from what Meush said, it relies/link to the Red saber... so, if I put that one white or transparent, all those with Red saber will have invis sabers to me? If not, thanks alot! you solved a big poodoo!

Yes, if you make grip transparent, you will also make red saber transparent

I have tried put these black (meaning transparent to Jk2) :

Red_glow2.jpg from the effect/sabers/ folder in assets0 - Result, there is no more red 'glow' areound the hand, but it is still there, and the red saber was just pointy instead of glowy; a bit like Super Smash Bros' beam sword...

Then, I have changed the red_line.jpg from the same folder, and still I had the unnessessary grip hand. and no more Red sabers... wich wasn't good at all :S

I tried also to change the redflare from the textures/flares folder, and still nothing.

---- After talking privatly with Meush, I noticed that the SP grip was WITHOUT the hand extention, no matter the level... But from his word, he claims it to be coded...

Perhaps someone else would know how to OR implent the SP model into MP or change the 'model' color of the grip hand, as I find it unrealistic(following the movie)

Anyways, thanks and if someone got info on that, please post it here... thank you all for your help
