This may sound stupid, but there has to be a way to do this. I know that a model.glm is compiled from two files, a root.xsi file(skeleton) and a model.car file(carcass file that contains the info about the _humanoid.gla file). What I want to know is this: I want to decompile a model.glm (not kyle, jan or a stormtrooper) back to its original root.xsi and model.car files to change/edit the model some. Is there a program out there that would decompile the model.glm into those two files, so I can edit them and then recompile them with Carcass? Now as far as editing the carcass file goes, I know you can do that with Assimilate, but first I want to decompile the model.glm before I can do the rest. Please, if anyone can help me with this, please do!

I'm guessing the answer is no. You can import GLM files to edit them, but then you need to re-add the skeleton, reweight them, and recompile to GLM.
