I tried using Note Pad but the shader effects don't show when I change some stuff in the shader file. For example this is a shader for a Mara Jade model: models/players/mara/mara { { map models/players/mara/mara.tga rgbGen lightingDiffuse } { map models/players/mara/envmap1.tga blendfunc add rgbGen lightingDiffuse tcGen environment } { map models/players/mara/mara.tga blendfunc blend rgbGen lightingDiffuse } } Note that when I change the first line "models/players/mara/mara" to "models/players/maratexture/mara" because I got the Mara Jade texture .tga file named "mara.tga" for this model in the "models/players/maratexture" folder. Logically after that I thought I should change the whole thing to: models/players/maratexture/mara { { map models/players/maratexture/mara.tga rgbGen lightingDiffuse } { map models/players/maratexture/envmap1.tga blendfunc add rgbGen lightingDiffuse tcGen environment } { map models/players/maratexture/mara.tga blendfunc blend rgbGen lightingDiffuse } } because I changed the name of the folder that the .tga file is in right? Once I do this the game cannot seem to find the shader anymore. Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong and how to get the shader to work again after moving the .tga file to a different folder?
