will do. I haven't had a ton of time lately either, but I got a few things updated concerning the lightsabers in the pack. I plan on making some new skins too, and then beta 1 will be ready before too long :D

lol yeah, I doubt it will ever reach the immensity I originally imagined unless more people work on it. However, recently I made a Halo plasma sword hilt for the pack, and it turned out nice enough to stand on its own, so I made an independant release of that, and in the readme put in a section asking for help with the JK2 Jedi Customization pack. Perhaps that too will help a bit. It should be on jk2files soon.

I can skin for you if some tells me how to put on all the color variations and dent marks, scratches, ect.ect. And if someone can tell me what I should skin.

what program do you use? i use gimp and to do that i use the clone tool with the pattern option you copy the texture of w/e you want and overlay a the texture same for dents and such takes a bit of practice tho and and you got to make sure the edges of the texture line up if your coevring a large area if you cant then you have to blind it all after which you should do anyway and colors are easy just choose the color you want and use the color brush to change the color helps to change the opasticy for certain applications

not sure how clear that was but ill answer any questions i can haha if your useing photoshop cant help tho never used it before haha

I personally use Adobe After Effects for skinning, but I also have GIMP, and it is definitely a good alternative. @Raziel: Sure, if you can improve the textures for the Halo Sword, be my guest! I have had a surprisingly difficult time finding good screenshots of a Halo sword for textures, and I will admit I am not the best UVMapper. @Basilo: I'll also help you if you have questions, btw. Basically any of the default JK2 models could use skins, but for the beta 1 release, we're aiming just for 5 skins for each of the following models: bespin_cop, jedi, kyle, luke, shadowtrooper, weequay. That list is off the top of my head, so there might be one or two that I am forgetting. The Jedi and Weequay models already have the target 5, so basically focus on the other models I mentioned. Just remember to split them up into three PK3's like I show in the alpha 3 release (check page 2 of this forum for the download) or send the finished skin to me and I'll do that part for you. Alpha 3 is quite out of date by now, however...I will try to upload an alpha 4 release soon!

OK, here's that alpha 4 release! JK2_Jedi_Customization_Pa4.zip - FileFront.com It contains the most recent additions to the pack, and hopefully will be the last alpha version necessary.
