i use gtk radient, and i was wondering how to make good looking waterfalls in multiplayer.
Frst, make a tunnel wher waterfall should be
Then make waterfall (normal wall). Caulk it. Select one side (front) and texture it with moving water texture. Do the same with opposite (bsck) side.
Amd you have a waterfsll :lol:
Do what he says except use waterfall texture, not normal water texture, otherwise you will have the "Amazing waterfall that goes both up and down" :)
Yes, I've forgot that you must find running water texture and rotate it so it'll fall down, not up, not right, not left
That is why you are suppossed to find the .efx file.
.efx is good for mist made by falling water, but not for making waterfall, because it looks strange and standard brush with moving texture is better

make new enity: Fx > Fx_runner
make key || value FxFile || env\waterfall_mist
Consider effects before shaders, they often look better if used correctly.
