I read a thread not so long ago where someone quit because their work was tinkered with by some fool who refused to accept the nature of intellectual property. For this reason, if anyone can tell the DF mod team this post is here, i would be most grateful. I want to know if i can get permission to open up their mod to see how it works (what with new enemies like the dianoga- how they did the animations)? please reply if you have the right to give this sort of permission!

I'd try out their official forums here first...

First, register at Lucasforums and post this there. Second, nobody can forbid you to expand the assets files from the mod and take a look at what we did. I animated the dianoga with softimage and then compiled them with carcass as any other animator for JA would do. I don't think you can use the mod's assets on your own mod, you'll have to do some stuff by yourself.
